Cannabinoid & Anxiety Relief Education Study (C.A.R.E.S) |
Thank you for your interest in the Cannabinoid & Anxiety Relief Education Study (C.A.R.E.S.).
Lead Researcher Dr. Sean Young and researchers from the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, in partnership with Wholistic Research and Education Foundation, are recruiting participants for a research study about cannabis and/or hemp-derived CBD use during the COVID-19 Pandemic and its impact on health and well-being.
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are 18+, English speaking, and use cannabis and/or hemp-derived CBD.
The study will take place online. You will be asked to complete an online questionnaire (approximately 10-15 minutes).
You will not be compensated for your participation; however, if you are interested in how your personal experience with cannabis and/or hemp-derived CBD compares with our total survey population, please visit wholistic.org/cares for preliminary survey results in November 2020.
This first-of-its kind survey is expected to yield unique insights about the effects of the current pandemic on anxiety levels and sleep quality, and whether cannabis and/or hemp-derived CBD use during this time has had any impact on users’ health and well-being. The research findings will be broadly shared with the general public to aid in cannabis and CBD education.
